HELLO FROM FLORIDA and thanks to Nancy for inviting me to join your wonderful blog!I am not really known for my "blogging" but I thought I would give it a try. I love some of the pictures I have seen and I think it is so cool to see little glimpses into people's lives! I recently got a nice camera and I am branching out trying to take some photos of things other than my two dogs sitting on the couch. There are so many interesting things to take pictures of here in Orlando and I look forward to sharing with you. This photo is a Queen Palm "flower"(I guess) which is loaded with pollen but very striking to look at. It is about three feet tall and just kind of hangs around. Thanks again for the invite!

Hi Jenn! I am Nancy's Aussie friend Helen! Glad to have you onboard! Looks like taking awesome photos runs in the family. This is just gorgeous. Can't wait to see more of your photos (what camera did you get?) and learning and seeing more of your part of the world. Thanksfor the welcome and nice to meet your Helen and Wendy (I already know Nancy and Amy--hi guys).I have a Rebel XTi and I threw out the english manual and kept the spainish one--OOPS! But I try...I have an SLR minolta and I am not totally new to photography.I am having a small problem w/internet connection.My husband switched to air card and is on his computer constantly so the only internet connection I have is through my work laptop. It will not stop me though....I will figure something out! I have some interesting takes on Orlando I hope to share with everyone soon! Thanks again!
