Well we may not have an abundance of bridges in Florida but we do have plenty of colorful flowers! This is a hibiscus flower. Hibiscus is a very common flowering bush that is inexpensive and almost impossible to kill.

if it's impossible to kill, it sounds like my kind of flower. i wanted to get some this past spring but never got around to it. i'm definitely going to get some next spring.
i finally got to see ava out of her blankets. girl, you wouldn't believe how small she is. i can't stop looking at her. on sunday she was 4lbs 10oz. she doesn't even look real!
